Going past due date with gestational diabetes

Hi moms. May I know, how many of you went past your due date with gestational diabetes? Wanna know how many days overdue is safe. Currently I'm 40 Weeks & 2 day. Also, do we need to bring our own glucose device on the day of delivery? Tia *Update: Gave birth at 40+5 weighing 3864g. Baby didn't want to come yet so I went to the delivery suite to get induced but was already at 4cm so they had my waterbag broken instead. Had baby close to 3hrs later after breaking waterbag.
