Scientifically, we don’t have to bury the placenta. You can do whatever you want, even there’s people who eat it cuz they believe it will increase fertility. But in islam, we wash it carefully, rinse the blood with few things (you can search set basuh uri) until no more smell, and then we bury it. Mainly because we believe the placenta is a part of our body, like an organ, that connects the mother and the baby. So we don’t want to simply throw/burn the organ. Also to avoid animals to eat it. But, this is not something compulsory to do, not like you’ll get sin if you didn’t bury it. It’s enough to dispose it in a dignified manner, and you’ll get reward (pahala) from doing it because Islam deduced it as part of sunnah (act that is being practiced by prophet Muhammad). Hope this clarifies your question 😆
sebagai org islam, placenta/uri kalau weols tanam dpt pahala n tujuan kebersihan. uri tu sebahagian dari mumy n baby. so rasa mcm tak elok la buang mcmtu je. biasa weols cuci dulu utk kurangkan bau n baru tanam. sbb tanam pula utk elakkan haiwan mcm anjing kucing kais2 makan. tu je xde reason lain 🤭
