braxton hicks is not an indication for active labour .. i have braxton hicks since 33 weeks and still have it now at 39 weeks pregnant .. you will know when your tummy is hardened, it is not painfyl but it can be very comfortable .. i will change my positions when that happens, it does help .. this usually last 1min or less .. my gynae adviced me to go to the hospital if only my waterbag broke, if i have frequent painful contractions, no baby movement or a bloody show .. if not, i can just go to the hospital on my EDD itself, i have just 7 days to go ..
Given birth at 38 weeks 2 days. I had braxton hicks daily for a month before delivery. I didn’t have much other symptoms prior to birth, i just had contractions and I didn’t know i managed to tolerate the pain until 6cm opened. So when I walked to the hospital, next few hours my baby is out.
I gave birth a day before edd. Went in hosp on 10 aug 3 am and delivered on 11 aug 12 am.. my edd was on 12 aug… i was having very bad lower backache… where i started pacing in my room.. i also had brown blood a wk before….
I had my first baby at 38 weeks. I had spotting and baby was breeched so I had a csect. braxton hicks can start early but not necessarily an indication labour is pending soon.
first born: 36w3d; second born: 36w6d. Both is mucus plug drop then water bag broke
