Nipple odor

Hi mommies may naka experience po ba sainyo ng after giving birth nagkaroon ng smell yung nipples nyo? Mine kasi hindi naman nag latch si baby pero nag produce ako ng milk ko (hindi po kasi naka survive si baby ko) pero nagkaroon ako unwanted odor sa nipples ko. Any tips para mawala yung amoy?

Normal po na may certain amoy tayo post-partum, due to hormones pa rin po kasi. This scent/ odor is supposed to smell like the amniotic fluid our baby was in nung nasa tummy pa sila. It serves as baby's guide to find their way to their mother's nipples para makapag-breastfeed sila. Kaya ang mga newborn nahahanap nila nipple ni mommy kahit hindi pa sila nakakakita. I'm sorry po for your loss...
