Measles & Flu Vaccine

Hi Mommies, My baby is scheduled to have his measles and flu vaccines this end of May. He's 8months today. But given the current situation, I'm afraid we might catch the virus when we go to the hospital. My baby is having his vaccines at CSMC. If you were in my shoes, would you proceed or delay the vaccines? If delay, until when? TIA

Hi! We just had our baby's vaccine last Monday at Cardinal. My baby is 2months old. You may ask your pedia to schedule you first thing in the morning. What we did since only 1 companion is allowed, my husband sprays alcohol to me from head to foot before riding the car. My baby is inside a nursing cover (poncho style). Our payment is inside an envelop in my back pocket and let the pedia's secretary get it. I have spray pocket alcohol just in case I need to touch a door know, I would spray it first, even the ball pen.

You may further ask your pedia if it is okay to delay. Since I gave birth March 13, pedia delayed my baby's vaccine and said it is okay and just had it last Monday
