32 wks with Gestational diabetes

Hello, any mom with GD taking insulin shots? My readings are 5.5 ~ 6.5 mmol when fasted and 7.5 ~ 8.5 mmol (2 hours after meal). Doctor recommended the reading to be <5.5 when fasted and <6.7 (2hr after meal). Would like to know if your doctor is strict on the readings too? TIA!

I am diagnosed with GD too but not on insulin shots. However gynae is strict with sugar levels. Must be below 6.6 2 hours after meals. Have to walk more and cut down on carbs.

Same here! Less carbs and more walks. Monitoring the blood sugar levels 2x a week.
