Notching
Hi mga momsh. Ask ko lang sa mga nagpa-doppler ultrasound na nagkaroon ng with notching sa artery ano po kaya ibig sabihin nun? Di naipaliwang masyado ni ob sakin. Uulitin na lang daw namin after 2weeks para kung ayos na daw. Nakakaworry din po kasi.
Bilateral notching po yung case nyo kasi it shows to be present both left and right side. Ibig po sabihin, increased vascular resistance and impaired uterine circulation. Usually po present sya if meron pregnancy induced hypertension or pre-eclampsia, 22 weeks of pregnancy and beyond. I hope ok po ang bp nyo at wala naman other findings sa ultrasound nyo like abruptio placenta. Another possibility din po nyan is yung baby magiging small for gestational age due to impaired circulation. Let's pray na mawala sya on your follow up check-up.
