Hi Sis. Linawin ko lang. Yung 105 days na maternity leave paid by sss yun. So for example,ang salary mo per month is 16k(basic lang po ah. Ang allowances kasi it depends kung san mag fall. Sa IRR kasama allowance pero like sakin, since allowance ko is fall under de minimis,di sya covered. So check with your employer.) Ang dapat na makuha mo is 16,000 multiply by 3.5. Since 16k is pasok sa bracket ni sss, wala ng babayaran sayo si company. Kasi covered lahat. Ang tinutukoy mo na babayaran ni company, yun ay kung ang salary mo every month is exceeding or lampas sa covered ni sss. Kaya sya tinawag na differential. So if ang sahod mo is let's say 25k a month, tapos ang kayang i cover ni sss is 20k maximum(sa new irr po to. so depende yan kung kelan nagbago yung contributions mo. Kaya kukunin yung 6months highest salary credit prior to the semester na manganganak ka) yung 5k multiply by 3.5, yan yung babayaran sayo ni company. Mahirap sya iexplain kasi case to case basis to. Yung mga sinabi ko is more on general lang. Pwede mo kausapin si employer para sa computation or pwede din sa sss mismo magpacompute. So para lang malinaw, yung bbyaran sayo ni sss eh yun na yung sahod mo for 3.5 months. Kung kulang yung mabibigay ni sss, saka ka lang babayaran ni company. Pag sakto lang, wala ng liability si employer. Hope this helps. 😊

Salary differential based sa computations online will be like this. Halimbawa ang daily basic mo ay 1k at meron kang 2days off in a week ang factor rate ay more or less 261days at ang computation ay ganito: (Daily basic wage x Factor rate)÷12months x 3.5mos mat leave (1,000 x 261)÷12 x 3.5 = 72,125.00 Ung 72,125.00 is ung dapat full salary mo for 3.5mos Now kung me nakuha ka mat benefit from sss na 56k halimbawa, ibabawas yan sa 72,125,00 so ang tira ay 20,125.00 less mandatory contri for sss, pagibig and philhealth na halimbawa 5k for 3.5mos. So magiging ganito: 72,125.00 (full salary for 3.5 mos) 56,000.00 (less maternity benefit from sss) 5,000.00 (less mandatory gov't contributions) ---------------- 15,125.00 - salary differential to be shouldered by employer

Salary differential is covered by the company, pero yung sa SSS na 20k per month. I think it will reflect pa in 2020, so un 16k pa din ang covered kung 2019 ka manganganak. And also as pee our company, un salary differential is still subject to tax, I am not sure lang kung ilang percent.

no po.. it will be based sa contributions nio lang. hnd same amount ng salary nio per month. max na nrerelease nla per month is 16k

Actually yes. Pero minsan depende sa company. Katulad sakin, hati yung bigay. Kasi ang explanation naman ni employer, advance yun ng company. Si sss kasi bnbyran si employer kapag napasa na lahat ng requirements eh ang mat 2 mapapasa lang pag nanganak diba? kaya ganun yung ginagawa. hati. 1st payment, bago manganak then yung kalahati, pag napasa mo na sa employer yung mat 2
