Epidural

Hi momsh, first of all wag kang kabahan. Kapag naglelabor ka na, hindi mo na maiisip na kabahan lol. 39w4d yung tyan ko nung nanganak ako. They had to give me 6 shots of antibiotic kasi may leak yung amniotic fluid ko. I got admitted na din kahit wala pang hilab na nagaganap para mamonitor si baby. My ob told me na kapag di pa hihilab yung tyan ko the next day, ic-cs na nya ako. So the next day walang hilab na naganap, I was taken to the delivery room at around 8am on March 16. Before that, humigop lang ako ng sabaw ng noodles kasi bawal na akong magrice. Akala ko sisimulan na yung procedure pero nilabatiba muna nila ko. I think yun yung tawag. Labatiba. They needed to cleanse my intestines and one wat din daw yun para magtrigger ng contractions but nothing happened. After that procedure, dumating yung ob ko para mag IE sa akin pero i'm still 1cm dilated. Take note, 1cm na yun since March 12 at walang pag galaw. I didn't know what she was doing down there but I suddenly felt some pain on my tummy. It's finally contracting! Pinutok nya pala yung water bag ko. To speed up the process, nagpaside drip sya ng pampahilab and the rest was history. Charot. Hindi kita tinatakot momshie but it was so painful. Wala pang one hour akong naglelabor, I was already asking the nurse to call my doctor and cut me open because I don't think I can bear the pain anymore lol. Pero pinapalakas nya yung loob ko pilit. I had no choice but to be strong hahahaha. Every hour may nagpeperform ng IE and thank God kasi ang bilis magdilate but the pain is becoming unbearable. At 8cm, she gave me something (not sure what pero pinadaan nya sa IV), and I fell asleep. I woke up with a lot of people around me, telling me to push harder. I'm already at 11cm pero hindi ako makairi ng maayos. I don't know how! Nobody taught me though 😂 Kept on pushing probably for an hour and my dr asked me to rest for a bit. Another dr came and pinatagilid nila ko saka pina-arch yung likod ko. I felt a needle on my back and suddenly, I'm not feeling anything from my hip down to toe. Then I heard my baby. He didn't cried out loud kasi nakapulupot pala ng dalawang ikot yung cord nya sa kanya. Kulay violet sya nung nailabas at humaba din yung ulo nya. After a few seconds nung natanggal yung cord sa pagkakaikot, dun pa lang sya umiyak. I had to do it all alone kasi they didn't allowed any relative, even my husband, inside the delivery room. Pushing was too hard pa for me kasi my baby is 7.7lbs, ang laki nya hehe. Habang nagpupush ako, may dumadagan sa tyan ko na nurse, they call it fundal push yata. Para matulungan si baby sa paglabas kasi nga hindi ako sanay hahaha. Nastress yung mga ugat ko sa mata kaya may pula pula ako sa mata at si baby after. Pero nawala din naman after 3 weeks. Sa totoo lang hindi ko maabsorb kung ano yung nangyayari nung mga oras yun kasi groggy pa ako and all I could say after hearing my baby cry was "Thank you Lord". My baby is 2 months now. Ang bilis lang. Ikaw din mommy kaya mo yan. Pray lang lagi ❤😊
