Preparing for your Child’s Vaccine Sessions
Mga Mommies, kung ang Vaccine Day ng kids nyo ay isang Pelikula, ano ito? A. Drama B. Comedy C. Horror D. Others 😆🙃😂 Here are some tips to make your vaccine day go smoothly which I learned from our own pedia and BakuNanay webinar. - Master holding your baby with gentle hands. Not too loose, not too tight. Minsan kasi, mas masakit pa yung higpit ng hawak natin kesa sa tusok ng karayom. - Explain to them the importance of vaccines — that it will make them strong and healthy. - Huwag gawing panakot ang doctors. We, as parents, should talk about our pedia in such a way that our kids won’t look at them as a “kontrabida”. - Be honest. Huwag sabihing hndi masakit. Instead, you can say “It might pinch a little but it’s going to be very fast.” - Be a role model. There are also vaccines for adults so as much as possible, schedule your sessions on the same day as your kids at magpa-bakuna infront of them. - Prepare a reward like their favorite food, toy or activity. - Praise them afterwards for doing a great job and give them lots of hugs and kisses. Do you have something to add? Please don’t hesitate to share it sa comments section. Would love to learn from you, too!
