Speech delay
Mattawag na po bang speech delay ung 17mo. Lo ko? Mga5 words plang ung alam nya. My kamag anak po kming 2 asd kaya medyo worried po ako. Hindi din po sya ngppoint finger, naghhand flapping at tiptoe din sya. Is it too early to conclude? Worry tlga ko. Pashare naman ng experiences nyo mga Ma.
former behavior therapist here 🙋🏻♀️ sa mga nabanggit niyong symptoms like not responding to name, speech delay, hand flapping, tiptoe, etc., can be red flags po for a development delay.. baka may repetitive movements din po sya.. better to immediately consult with a Developmental Pediatrician (DevPed).. pa-refer po kayo sa kamag-anak or kung may kakilala kayo much better as it usually takes 6mos or up to 2years! para makapag-appointment depende sa market o lugar nyo po.. The earlier the detection and prevention, the better prognosis po to any development delay 🙏🏻
