We’ve been using an air cooler for months now and honestly, malakas ba sa kuryente ang air cooler? Not really! It’s way better than aircon. I noticed na kapag aircon kasi, madaling magtaas ang electric bill, especially if you leave it on all day. Ang air cooler, on the other hand, kahit matagal nakabukas, it’s only consuming a fraction of the power of an aircon. Mas effective siya sa cooling kapag malamig ang hangin sa labas, pero kapag sobrang init, medyo hindi niya kayang palamigin yung buong room ng kasing lamig ng aircon. So kung medyo malamig ang gabi or kung hindi masyado mainit, okay na okay ang air cooler!

Pero if you’re in a super hot place, baka kailangan mo pa rin ng aircon

When I switched from aircon to air cooler, I noticed a huge drop in our electricity bill. Kasi, like the others said, air coolers only use around 60-150 watts, which is a huge difference compared to air conditioners na madalas mag-run ng 1,000 watts or more. I just make sure to place it in a spot na may magandang airflow, and I also make sure not to overuse it. If the weather is cooler, I just turn it off. So far, no issues with electricity

Malakas ba sa kuryente ang air cooler? It depends talaga. If you're using it in a smaller room, like a bedroom or a small living area, hindi siya ganun ka-lakas sa kuryente. I tried one in our bedroom and I was really happy kasi malaki ang difference in our electricity bill compared to when we were using an aircon. But, if you plan to use it for a big room or leave it on the whole day, you might still notice some increase in your bill. In my case, I just make sure to turn it off when I don't need it. I also open the windows para maging mas efficient siya.

Usually, ang power consumption nila mga 60-150 watts lang, so mas mababa compared to aircons na may 1,000-2,000 watts or more. Pero depende din sa size ng room and kung gaano katagal mo gamitin. For example, kung malaki ang room, it will take longer to cool down, so medyo tataas yung consumption. Pero kung maliit lang ang space, good na siya! Try ko lang, at least mas mura siya kesa aircon!

Depende po sa aircooler. Pwede niyo iask sa appliance center kung ilan ang konsumo niya. Pero definitely mas malakas ang aircon magconsume lalo na yung mga old model na di pa inverter technology.
