My Son Don't Listen To Us.

What I did with my son is, if he does something bad and owns up to it, im calmer. I always tell him that i appreciate him telling the truth. I also give him a lighter punishment. But when i catch him lying, that’s when i really get mad. Just so he knows also the difference in my reaction and also so that he knows that there is value in telling the truth.
