Hey mummy, while I understand that it is indeed tough but should you be facing issue in payment you may wish to inform them at the counter in regards to the payment. They will then advice you accordingly. Is it you are under private therefore the high amount of outstanding bill? Or because you are under subsidy but you hold the bill? Pardon me for asking. If you have issue in payment maybe perhaps to arrange alternative payment via apps and settle bill bit by bit instead of holding a huge portion. This is to ensure you get to have all your appointment at the designated date arrange.

Have you ever speak with the counter when registering? I know that at the counter they have a small "poster" indication if you would like to speak privately with the staff. Maybe perhaps you can raised this up and therefore let them know about the payment. Yes it is true that not everyone would be able to make payment at one go but atleast be empathy to make some partial payment before next appt. They shouldn't ask you to leave. While this is unacceptable they shouldn't reject you. I hope that this is raised up to the right channel.

YES i agree.. NUH system is cocked up now. After they moved the clinic. the staffs at the counter didn't mention anything abt using Medisave. I hv been paying cash too. the previous clinic on the ground floor years back, the service were better.

Payment cant be made with Medisave. All pre natal charges claim will be made together with labour/ward charges. You can use Medisave only for certain charges and of course labour. The return cheques given weeks after birth would be the pre natal charges made during pregnancy.
