Sometimes it depends from one pregnancy to another. Week 9 is a very unstable period. Brown discharge could means internal bleeding. Slight bleeding can be due to positions of placenta and other problems. Let your gynaecologist check so he/she can prescribe the drugs to help you minimise the bleeding.

Btr to see ur gynae! I faced this issue when I was at week 8/9 , though nothing hpn in the end , but still, it's better to check!! Becoz if * touch wood * anything hpns, at least the doctor can help u to cure it as early as possible .

Better to check with gynae. Could be just old blood or if quite frequent could be something else also. Last year i had an ectopic and had spotting on and off for a number of weeks. Hope yours is just old blood!

Check with your gynae if you’re worried. I had spotting during the first trimester for all my pregnancies, only ended in miscarriage for one.
