Is there enough of evidence that placental encapsulation is beneficial to mothers? How could I go about doing it?

Placental encapsulation is the practice of ingesting the placenta after it has been steamed, dehydrated, grounded, and made into pills. Traditionally, this is taken by the mother and is believed to impart numerous health benefits such restoration of iron in blood, increase in milk production and a stress reliever. Personally I do not know anyone who has done this, in my culture it's not as prevalent yet. But I wouldn't mind trying it myself. Let your doctor know that you are keen on this process and they will advice you accordingly. They will also make sure that your placenta is handled properly after you deliver and ready to be picked up by your placenta ecapsulation specialist.
