I was told by my Indian relatives that I should keep my head covered after delivery to avoid falling sick. Is there any medical evidence to suggest there is risk of infection if your head is uncovered?

Hi i am not sure about Indian practices but for Chinese, we are supposed to keep our whole body covered. Head too. Reason because, when we gave birth, our pores are opened and when that happened, wind and others will enter and caused harm to our body To date, I have yet to justify this practice but as what old folks said, better be safe than sorry.
