In need of an electric pump. Any advice on which ones work the best or ones with best price would be greatly appreciated. No insurance so cant get one that way. Decided to continue bf longer than had planned and will be using babysitter so need to stock up.

I assume that you will be working and pumping on the go since you're using a babysitter? Like Jamie I am using the Spectra S9+ which has a rechargeable battery and is super lightweight and compact. Besides being portable, Spectra gives a better yield in a shorter pumping session; it is also very gentle to the nipples. I also like it for having lesser parts to wash/sterilise. The S9+ retails on Pupsik Studio for $299 with local warranty. However I got mine from Qoo10 for $139.90 with the seller Babyjoa. There is a return policy of 7 days for defective sets, however warranty on the machine is 1 year in Korea. There are other sellers who sell refurbished units (not brand new) so just be wary. Babyjoa seems reliable and trustworthy based on my research on their replies to queries on the portal and my set has been working great! http://list.qoo10.sg/item/SPECTRA-PORTABLE-BREAST-PUMP-SPECTRA-9/422450422

I'm using Spectra S1+ and 9+. Spectra is an affordable brand with good reviews. A lot of moms are raving about it. S1+ retails for $379 on Pupsik Studios online. Both are rechargeable. S1+ is a hospital grade pump which is more suitable for home or office use whereas 9+ is a light and portable pump best for outings. Medela is the to-go brand and Medela Freestyle is a very popular model. You can look at this link for other options as well. http://sg.theasianparent.com/best-breast-pump-shopping-guide/
