Mother of Two and coming to welcome our 3rd baby soon in October. I Fully Breastfeeding my baby till age 2 year . Breastfeeding is not only good for your baby but thru the process you can save a lot of money. And it's also healthier compared to formula milk containing lots of sugar.. Don't worry about low supply, as long as you and give your baby direct latch daily you will gain more milk supply. Just enjoy the process eat more, drink more water and have a good bond with your baby. Tips some mummy will experience nipple crack. My sharing is please put nipple cream and moist it as often as you can. So you won't experience the nipple crack. And a very important tip is if you give your baby a direct latch daily. The best is also to pump and keep some stock in case you need your husband / family to look after your baby when you away. So it will be easier for you to do your task. Good luck mummy!
I wish new mum could think through hard to decide if they want to breastfeed their baby. Breastfeeding really needs a lot of encouragement as this is a very draining and tiring thing to do. Breastfeeding will make your nipple cracks, make your breast engorge, and baby keep looking for you and are not able to rest. However, new mums should also know that when nipple cracks, there is nipple cream, when breast engorged, there are lactation nurses to help. After passing these phases, breastfeeding is really rewarding when you see your baby drinking your milk, you know this is the best milk in the world for your baby. Seeing your baby happy and healthy is what most parents want.
Hi there, mum of 3 here. I never thought breastfeeding could be this FULFILLING journey. To be able to supply your baby’s need for milk from your own body, and strengthen their immunity, such a blessing to have breastmilk supply. At 8months now~ and by far my longest latching for my baby boy. Let’s see where this could take us, but yea, happy to continue so long as my baby likes!😊😊😊 #WorldBreastfeedingMonth 😉
Never knew Breastfeeding could be one of life’s most challenging yet rewarding things. It’s not always smooth-sailing and natural at first; but with time things do get better if you don’t give up and have the support system that you need from your Husbands, Lactation Consultants and other Mummies. It’s been such a lovely journey as I begin to wean off at 21 months now.
One powerful insight about breastfeeding that I wish every new mum knew: ongoing pain is not normal—and most of the time, just a few small adjustments can make a huge difference. If breastfeeding consistently hurts, it’s likely a sign that something needs tweaking—like latch, position, or even pump fit—not something to be endured.
It is a connection between me and my baby. It is a bonding time between us. It is a way of me showing love to him. It is our exploring of each other and understanding each other better time. It is our US time between us regardless you are breastfeeding or feed time with exclusively pumping.
Breastfeeding is the only bonding moment for us to be togather, their soft touch lips make us as a mum feels wonderful. Not only that, breastfeeding also good for our precious ones so that they won't get sick easily when they grow up.
nobody is born with high supply! the supply comes with persistency and discipline. low supply doesn't mean supply. Supply what you can give best and not stressed about it.
