I'm quite traditional, especially when it comes to food. With my kids I give them the same lunch my mum used to make me, bread, butter and sugar. But with all these new 'health fads' I'm worried that I might be falling behind in getting my kids to grow up healthy. Any advice for how i can start simple and not scare my kids with the change in their day to day diet?

For a start, try to include more nutritious food instead of loading them up with sugar. Sandwiches can be healthy if you make some tweaks - wholegrain bread, more lettuce, tomatoes, some cheese. http://sg.theasianparent.com/10-healthy-meals-you-can-prepare-in-10-minutes/
