Hospitalisation leave

I’m currently seeing Dr. James Lee and I’m wondering does he issue hospitalisation leave to his patient when nearer to due date? Was asking because my maternity only starts 2 weeks before my due date, and I’m currently close to 32 weeks but already had severe backaches and difficulty walking normally due to pain. So was wondering if he issue HL to rest before due date.

If he's a private gynae, u may hve a higher chance of getting HL but usually doc will give nearer to EDD. And if u hve certain health conditions, doc will be more open to issue too. I got 6 wks HL prior to EDD, partly due to asthma.
