If the milk is too hot, can I rinse the bottle under tap to cool faster? BM and FM. TIA

No issue with that though. However, please try not to overheat the BM as the nutrients will be lost if you overheat the milk. It will be like drinking water to make the baby full with no nutrients at all. You may wish to test the water 1st before putting the formula inside so that you know the temperature beforehand.

Yes, i always do that, it's not say you are adding extra water into the milk too. Run about 80 seconds in swirl mode. If can, always taste the temperature before adding fm, so will not cooked away the good nutrients.

Can! But do take note that using only warm water bath temperatures to heat up milk will avoid the loss of nutrients and the risk of overheating. Avoid using a microwave oven to thaw or heat bottles of breast milk. :)

For FM - Yes you can but cannot be too long also as the temperature might change very fast and the milk is not warm enough.. Normally I will keep swirling for awhile than give baby the milk..

Is running a bottle under a running tab faster than leaving it in bowl of cold water, and are there any other cooling techniques we could try

Yupp I would either run it under a running tap or make a cool water bowl, and let the bottle immerse in there for a while.

Yes, perfectly fine to rinse until tap, but make sure water is not too hot for bm if not nutrients will be lost.

yes . can. or also not to waste water i will put the bottle in a cup with fill of tap water

I do it all the time as well. as long as the milk is not too cold can liao. haha.
