I think it would be good to be able to do that. However, it is quite costly and most would probably consider it a "good-to-have" if finances allow. Also, if baby is at a higher risk for contracting any of the conditions treatable by stem cell treatments (https://www.cordlife.com/sg/treatable-diseases), it will make sense to do it.
