Cord blood banking

Any mothers tried private cord blood banking, able to share the rough cost estimate and why you choose to do so. I know overall it’s like an insurance in case child needs to harvest stem cells in future but just not too sure of the cost benefit and if it’s common to do it in Singapore? #advicepls #1stimemom

Super Mum

Hi mama, Erm, I did consider cord blood banking but another thing that really made me reconsider it was delayed cord clamping or waiting for white. This is where you wait for the umbilical cord to stop pulsating before cutting. I felt the benefits far outweighed banking cord blood. You can watch a video for the rationale behind it here: https://youtu.be/W3RywNup2CM Sorry I digressed but I thought I might share this with you :)
