If baby nurse only one breast, do I need to pump out the other side after every feed?

My baby also drinks only from one side. Initially I did pump the other side. But eventually I stopped and just latched alternately. My breast regulated eventually and I no longer felt engorged. When I returned to work 3 mths ago, I was still able to pump enough and build supply tho. In fact, it worked well for me cos i need not pump every 3 hrs to have enough supply - since my breast regulated to 5-6hrly "refill". (more convenient for me since I cant keep pumping so often in office.)

Yes yes. It is always best to clear both sides od the breast. Even if baby drinks only 1 side, you can still pump on that same side to allow the body to send signal to yr brain that baby requires more and in this way, you can build up yr supply faster.

Thank you so much! Now more assured that I'm on the right track. ☺️

Yes. This can help prevent engorgement too and also to build up supply. You can store the excess one to build a stash for future use. :)
