Vaccine Booster
I was scheduled to have my C-19 booster shot last March, but we found out that I am pregnant. We were told that it might not be safe. Should I wait til I deliver the baby or it's safe to have the booster after first or second trimester? Anyone here who received booster shot while pregnant?
Safe siya pag nasa 2nd trimester kana. Nurse-Vaccinator ako, and yun ang inaadvice namin sa mga juntis naming recipients. Nung nagpprenatal din ako, sinabihan ako ng OB ko out of the blue na safe lang pag nasa 2nd trimester kana. Pero mas better if you have a clearance talaga from your OB ha, at wag magpa inject basta basta, may mga nakikita kasi akong mga hindi naman nurses pero sila pa nag aadminister ng vaccine, tas mali ang angle ng injection. IM injecting angle is 90° ah. Tapos never kayo magpa aspirate, jusq, naiinis talaga ako sa mga nag aaspirate na nag iinject ng IM naman. 😑
Magbasa paAnong advise ng ob mo? Yun sundin mo. Ako kasi inadvise nya na wagna lng muna mag pa booster kasi maselan yung pag bubuntis ko nung 1st tri. Pero yung friend ko na kasabayan ko, pinag booster nya. So depende yan sa saaabihin ng ob mo. Pero ako pina kumpleto nya ang anti tetanus at flu vax ko.
Sabi po nya wag muna on the first trimester. Di nya sinabi kung ok na on the next trimesters. I will be back on the 28th pa. I'm on my 19th week po. Just wanted to know lang if there are mommies na nagpabooster while pregnant. Thanks!
Pinayagan nakon ni ob ko by 13th week of my pregnancy, pfizer ang 1st dose ko ayun sa knya and all i know safe na po mgbigay ng booster to those at 2nd and thrid trimester, now im on 38th week of pregnancy pinayagan ulit ako mgpà2nd booster po pero d pa ko nagpaturok.
Required Po Sa Ospital na panganganakan ko na may booster .Kaya nagpabooster po ako . Thanks God Wala Naman Po akong naramdaman na kakaiba .Tinatanong Naman Po kung ilang months ang tiyan .Hindi po ako nilagnat thanks God 🙏
I had mine on the 25th week with my ob clearance. Pfizer ang booster vax ko. No harm effect so far sakin and the baby. Usual pain lang sa arm but wla ako fever etc.
I had my booster in January without knowing I'm already pregnant. My OB says it's okay as it's an added protection against Covid.
sa akin naman sabi ni ob wag daw ako magpa booster kc trial pa naman daw mga yan ei.. at least daw naka fully vaccinated na ako...
I think safe naman po ang covid vaccine for pregnant, yung immunity mo din mapapasa mo kay baby kaya okay na okay for me.
20 weeks daw po dapat ung baby bago magpabooster. As per the OB na nagbibigay nang vaxxine
My OB said 20weeks up pwede na magbooster. Just had mine at 30weeks. 😬
