I was immediately terminated by company upon informing about my pregnancy with compensation of 4mths maternity. Hr sent a "reminder" note to me stating that i have to produce my child's birth cert once i have delivered in order for them to file the claims from govt. Am I obliged to give them?

To begin with they shouldn't have terminated you and you should have gone to MOM and lodge a report against them for unlawful termination. I would suggest to you to call MOM and enquire. http://www.mom.gov.sg/employment-practices/leave/maternity-leave/maternity-leave-disputes
