The doctor is aware and experience in handling patients undergoing through IVF procedure. However nobody can say for sure whether it enhances the chances of pregnancy, other than the fertility scientists.
I have a friend who tried TCM while preparing for IVF. She had acupuncture every week and was given medication. You will need to find a practitioner you can trust and follow what he/she recommends.
