Hi mummies, is it okay for me to sleep on my back?

I do try to flip to my left or right side throughout the night. But naturally I will revert to sleeping on my back again. Any mummies had the same experience of sleeping on the back throughout their pregnancy would be appreciated, thank you! :)

I also tend to sleep on my back but I tried to put a bolster at one of the side, incase I forget, afraid later will have backpain if keep sleeping on my back with the growing tummy, in early stage maybe ok, but the bigger your tummy, the more uncomfortable u will feel

Are you comfortable sleeping on your back though? Doesn't the weight of your tummy make you uncomfortable? Even if you feel comfortable on your back, it might be best to shift your position freaquantly while sleeping.

Are you in your 1st or 2nd trimester? It will be so uncomfortable to sleep on your back in the later stage of pregnancy... I think you will sleep on your side naturally at that point.

I’m in my second trimester! First time mum to be and was a-bit worried about sleeping on my back 😅 Hopefully, I will adjust my sleep posture as it gets along and able to sleep on my side well ☺️

If you’re comfy sleeping on your back, you should do it! For me, I cannot unless I have a pillow under my back. So I always sleep on my side. It happened quite naturally.

I have the same habit and worry as you! guess we will find out how painful it is as our tummy grows :)

Sleeping on the sides is recommended so baby can’t put weight on your organs at the night time.

for me personally, sleeping on my back was really painful! so i always on my side
