I think my 3yo daughter is cute and chubby. I'm not sure if we overfed her. How much per meal is really enough?

Unlike infants or toddlers, 3-year olds stomachs' are smaller and they have lower energy needs relative to their size. They can get full on a small amount of food so look out for when they are full or not. That being said, they can overeat easily so portion control when you have to (sugary, fatty foods). An active three year old needs about 1000 to 1400 calories.
