I am a single father and find it weird to have a first period chat with my daughter. How do I put it across?

You can talk to your daughter like any other normal topic, don't be embarrassed. You can visit a very good website, Menstrupedia, which will give her a good insight about periods. Its a normal process and she should be comfortable to confide in you. All the best.

Hi. I have done the same thing before as a father. Your daughter is too young to have any preconceptins. She just wants someone to confide in. And if you do that comfortably from day 1 it will make no difference to her whether you are her father or mother. But what I found useful was to read up on the subject first so you have real knowledge. And as in all things always be positive and let her see that this is going to be a life long thing and she should listen to her body and find the righ
