I only have blackmores pregnancy and breastfeeding for supplement. Is it enough? Do I need to take any more supplementary?

I was taking blackmores pregnancy supplements too but I thought the DHA content was a little bit on the low side 125mg when recommended is 300mg. So I took extra DHA supplements from nordic natural. Instead of the recommended 2 capsules, I just took 1 capsule. You can read more about the DHA supplement I took here. http://www.nordicnaturals.com/en/Products/Product_Details/98/?ProdID=1434

The supplements you need to take also depends on which trimester you are at. Folic acid was prescribed to me in the first trimester. Second trimester I was given obimin and then calcium supplements was add on together with fish oil. I did not take any multivitamins at all. I think a healthy and balanced diet will be better for supplementing the body

Don't need. Just a balance and varied diet will do. Some pple will wanna make food choices that have higher iron and calcium too. Anyway if u take too much supplements, u run the risk of constipation and also just end up releasing very nutritious pee / s*** as it won't be all absorbed by ur body too

The last I checked with my Gynae, he told me so long as I am eating well and living well, there shouldn't be a need for supplements. Otherwise blackmores pregnancy and breastfeeding should be sufficient.

would be great if you could take more of fish oil, calcium and good prenatal complete vitamins, minerals and antioxidants for your optimal nutrition.
