I notice my lo have her first tooth. But it been weeks and is like still the same. How long does it take to grow?

My gal coming to 12mths in around 1week time. And she just have her one and only one small tooth that have been so short for weeks n did not see any changes. Thats y i thinking how long will it take to grow? and she like to chew n suck her pacifier so dont know will it affect also
