Just wanna rant a bit

I notice 16 weeks of ML is very little. Government encourage citizens to have more babies but but our ML is so little and some companies even restrict us from taking HL with the reason “not hospitalised so cannot take HL” haiz We should have at least 6 months of ML 🤨

Rather than just 2 extra months of ML, I'd wish for better allocation of infant care island wide instead... Some areas infant care empty one, and in my area infant care need wait for 2 years... If infant care not enough, 18 months ML also not enough... (2 years later not infant liao 😒) Also, too much maternity leave grants I kinda feel is bad for women in workforce. I feel like employers discriminate women in workforce already, if government still mandate even more ML I think no need even to get hired in those good jobs already... Maybe we need more paternity leave instead. 😶
