GIVING WATER TO BABY

I am a little bit confuse. Is giving water to baby is really prohibited po ba talaga? My baby is pure formula milk fed my parents and in laws keep telling me na painumin ng water si baby after dumede.

I heard from pedia baby below. 4 months are not Allowed to drink water, bottle fed or breast fed are enough
