I just delivered my baby and I have already starting to miss baby's movement and kicks in my belly. Am I having post-natal depression?

I think it is quite common for some ladies to miss the baby’s kicks and movements after giving birth. It does not suggest that you are having Postpartum Depression (PPD). However, just to be on the safe side, do you feel a sense of loss (kind of like unable to adjust to the idea that the baby is no longer inside you?) associated with missing those movements? If it is just a general sentiment, I think you have nothing to worry about. If there are some negative feelings associated with it, you may want to keep a lookout for other signs. If you find yourself feeling down almost all the time, it is one key warning sign. It's perfectly normal, as you started to feel baby's movement for about 4-5months in your belly and suddenly the kicks are gone. It took quite some times for me to get used to the 'empty' belly, about 1 month.

Firstly - congrats mummy!!!! Next, it's really quite normal to miss babies kicks in belly. Watch how you feel for next few weeks before labeling what you have as PND. :)
