induction pain

i heard from many people that induction labour is more painful than natural, is it true?

I was numbed from hip down. Didn’t feel a thing. Haha. But I had a feel of it parts here and there when epidural didn’t kick in in time. Even for me, a high level tolerance threshold, I can’t take the pain.
