trying to mix feeding

I have a question, I was trying to give formula to my baby if its water he drinks it but if its formula he doesn't drink it.. Some moms says its the kind of bottle that i use but i dont think so why he drinks water from it if its the bottle thats has a problem, I use philips avent brand for my bottle.. Please tell me what to do thanks..
