Tough to find a childcare centre

I have been trying to secure a childcare centre near my house area and seems like every where is full! I have placed my name in almost all centres waiting list but no one called me. Can anyone give me tips on how to secure a centre soon? Getting reap anxious as my 2nd baby is coming out soon.
