Tightness at the lower abdomen

I feel some tightness at the lower abdomen. It comes and goes. Im currently 35 weeks pregnant. Why is this so? Is it normal?

It’s normal. It’s called Braxton Hicks contractions which is uncomfortable but painless. It’s to prepare your body for labour and delivery.

Braxton hicks. Comes and goes so try to change your position when it comes. Normally it will go away if you do that.
