Worried and overthinking??

Hi all, I am currently on week 14, however everyday I am full of worry as recently my friend shared that she had miscarriages at week 16ish without any symptoms. I thought after week 12 the pregnancy should be stabilised? 😢😢 Always looking for assurance, however I am aware that nothing is concrete 😢🥺

Hello it is quite normal but we have to stay positive for the sake of the baby. Only if you stay happy and positive your baby will develop and grow happily. This is the time when your baby's organs are developing and growing so you have to be happy cheerful positive. Don't stress yourself physically and mentally. Spend time with your partner. Download any pregnancy tracking app which will tell what is happening within yourself and your baby as weeks progress. It will give you motivation and encouragement. Stay strong and positive. May God bless you with a happy, healthy, smooth pregnancy and parenting journey ahead

Hey. I totally understand. That’s why during my pregnancy I try not to read too much about miscarriages, stillbirth etc and focus my mind on God. Believe that God who place ur baby in your womb will keep you and your baby safe. Everything is well and in God’s Hands. I even avoided friends who kept sharing with me about other people’s miscarriages etc and thank God I gave birth to a healthy baby girl last year :)) you’ll do fine. Take care of your emotional needs and share your concerns with your loved ones. Hugs^

Think positively. Miscarriage can be happened at any point of pregnancy but not all the pregnancies ends up with miscarriages. Trust in your body, listen to pregnancy assurance podcasts and try to relax your mind as much as possible. Try not to listen to the negative stories from other people. When I had my first child, one of my friends kept plastering me with miscarriage stories during my first trimester. Honestly I was anxious and scared . I stopped talking to her ever since. 🙃
