Can I drink tea during my first trimester?

I am an avid tea drinker before my pregnancy and I understand that drinking too much caffeine will cause harm to the baby? However to abstain totally from tea is so tough. Does everyone abstains from tea as well or perhaps limit to 1 cup per day? Thanks!

I’m an avid tea drinker before my pregnancy as well 🙋🏻‍♀️ I drink green tea most of the times because it’s one of the least caffeine. You still can drink but limit yourself. I still drink about 1-2 cups a day and bubble tea once a week, but totally avoid coffee (coffee got higher caffeine than tea) during my pregnancy. Gave birth to a healthy baby last month 😊

I love tea too! I think there are some non-caffeinated teas you can get off the shelves in supermarkets! But i do limit my tea intake to once a day too 🥲

I’m an avid coffee drinker, so I had to make the hard switch to tea :( also limiting myself to one tea a day.

I feel you and I have the same qn as well! For now I try to avoid else, I limit to 1 cup per day.
