is it possible to get a positive pregnancy test and still have lots of bleeding?

I am 9 days late for my period and when I brought the test kit it suddenly bleed. At first with dark brown in colour and now the 2nd day it become bright red in colour. Am I pregnant anot?

During early pregnancy, there could be spotting. To be safe, check yourself in to the gynae. I was given medication to stabilise the pregnancy when I had bleeding at Week 5.
