low lying placenta

i am 30 weeks and my placenta still low. going for another scan at 36 weeks to see if the placenta move up if not, i have to schedule a c section. i mean i am okay with c section or vaginal as long as my baby gonna be okay. but recently, my sister asked me if i wanna try to do a massage and let's see if it moves up. because the aunty that she always got massages recommended and encourage me to try. she explains that she won't massage my tummy and only around my hips. i did google and it says it's better to not go for a massage with low lying placenta. so right now i am not sure. any advice if i should do the massage or ask the doctor first?

Yup, its not advisable to go for any massage, esp prenatal massage, when you have a low lying placenta. Best to avoid even if the masseuse says they can move the placenta up.

Better to be safe than to suddenly have another complication.

Please avoid massages right now. Hopefully during next check up placenta might have gone up
