My husband wants to be all gender neutral and decorate our unborn daughter's future room in green and non girly colours. But i am traditional and i want it in pink and pastels. What should i do? Do u think i m being too backward for wanting traditional colors?
I don't think there's anything wrong with either one of your decisions. Why don't you guys mix it up a little -- have some pink curtains and maybe yellow furniture. Have a mural painted in all your favourite colours so there is no solid distinction between boy/girl colours. You can try Pinterest to search for inspiration for colourful nuseries for baby. I personally like little girls wearing pink dresses once in a while but she doesn't have to be surrounded by one colour all day long :)

I hope for a gal so sometimes I will add a little pink or purple or yellow or orange. I don't wish my son to feel blue everyday. Give some colour options to your hubby too. Neutral colours are nice too!

Pastel colours are lovely :) Maybe do mint green and a combination of other colours?
