What to call grandparents?

Hi! Husband's dad and my dad are both from the Hokkien dialect group. What should my baby call his paternal grandfather (my husband's father) and maternal grandfather (my father)??? Is one Ye Ye and the other Gong Gong? Or Wai Gong? My husband never met his grandfather so he doesn't know. I used to call my paternal grandfather (my father's father) Gong Gong. But my husband's father is saying my baby should address him as Ye Ye, and not Gong Gong. Very confused!

personal preference... i let the grandparents decide... paternal grandfather decided on Yeye & NaiNai for paternal grandparents while maternal grandmother decided on GuaGong(GongGong) or GuaMah (MahMah) for maternal grandparents

paternal ye ye maternal gong gong from my understanding hokkien dialect hardly use Yeye, it's more for Cantonese or Hakka hokkien or teowchew commonly use Ah Gong, 外公 if he prefer Yeye then just call him Yeye

if ur fil want to be addressed as ye ye, just let him, coz he will address ur father as wai gong, wouldn't make much confusion

Ye Ye and Gong Gong is the same for Paternal grandfather, maternal grandfather is Wai Gong...

妈妈的爸爸叫公公 爸爸的爸爸叫爷爷

when can I start giving my baby cow's milk?

Ask them what they want to be called
