Can get a private tutor or find those tuition centre with small group like less then 8 people, they can learn faster. If you stay near Toa Payoh can look for this Fangcao Yuan Education Centre 芳草园 next to CHIJ secondary school, the teacher very good her lesson always full and many students from other location tuition there.

Exposure is important.. At home, make a day to speak the Mother tongue language. We are also finding time and opportunity to speak more as well.. Maybe watching channel 8 can help. Haha

My friend doesn't speak Chinese at home as well, so she sends her child to Berries World. The children get to learn Chinese in a fun way over there. http://www.berriesworld.com/

One of you will have to start speaking so at least they get the exposure coz English will be the main communication everywhere they go next time.

I send my kiddos to Tien hsia, it does helps as they teach in advance like berries.. so when they do the topic in school, it will be easier..

thanks
