Yes, she is probably experimenting with her voice. You can try whispering to her whenever she yells to get her to lower her volume. Can also try not responding to her when she yells, and explain to her that she does not need to yell to attract your attention. Do so by speaking calmly in your normal voice and she may get the message. But it is likely just a phase and she will grow out of it soon.
