How much formula does a 3week plus baby aloud be drinking? Is 150ml too much?

From what I've read, the recommended amount and frequency for newborn is 2-3oz every 3 hours. So that is about 60ml to 85ml or so. You can also use your baby's weight as an estimation. Multiply your baby’s weight (in pounds) by two and divide it into the number of feedings in a day. On average, a newborn drinks about 45-90 ml every 2-3 hours. This amount increases as your baby grows and is able to take more at each feeding. At about 2 months, your baby may be taking 120-150 ml at each feeding and the feedings may be every 3-4 hours.

My son took 90-120ml when he was 3-4 weeks old. Every one said its a little on the high side, but thats's also the growth spurt period. Not every baby feeds on the same amount.

during my boy 3 week plus he only drink 60 ml like that . . their tummy is still very small small . for me i feel 150 is abit alot

90 to 120 ml is ok .. don’t mix too much milk powder as prescribed may forms phlum to baby .. so dissolve with water more ..

150ml definitely is too much for them. for 3 weeks is about 50ml to 70ml.

150ml really seems like a lot. My bub did about 90 ml at 1 month.

Hi... between 90 to 120ml. 150ml for one feed is too much.

Yes sounds like a lot! 90-120ml should be sufficient
