How much food should we give the baby for the first solid feed?

Hi there, For the first few feeds, just a teaspoon of cereal with about 30 to 60ml of baby's milk to get a smooth watery consistency. You can progress to a tablespoon after baby is able to finish his meal readily. Judging from baby's response, you can increase his portion (by the tablespoonful) gradually on a weekly basis.
